Incredible paddle with a huge sweet spot, great control and plenty of pop and power. The diamond grit on the paddle face is unreal. Seems like it will last forever. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. Well done SixZero!
If your former paddle was the DBD or Ruby, then the Coral Pro is the natural upgrade. Not only is the control and feel of this paddle top notch, it also packs excellent power and pop. It’s not the most poppy nor powerful paddle on the market. It doesn’t need to be. The Diamond grit and ultra control make up for that. It only took me a few days of playing with this paddle to give me full confidence in my game. Usually it takes 2-4 weeks for other paddles I’ve had. SixZero has an absolute winner in this paddle and should be a statement paddle in today’s market-trending from the all power rage to ultra all-court paddle instead like the Coral Pro. I’ve already ordered my second one and I highly recommend.
Great Very High Tier All Court or Low Tier Power Paddle. Very well balanced paddle with enough power and pop but with a slight softness to dinks. Grit is amazing. Honestly a paddle that can work well for the masses
If you liked the Coral (which is a fantastic paddle), you'll LOVE the Coral Pro (it's better). Way more grit, more spin, a little more power & pop... but not a crazy amount more to where you can't control it, but seemingly the perfect amount. This paddle is a lot of fun to use. Both Coral paddles are great. But if you want a little more power and spin, this paddle slots in perfectly.
Great paddle and grit is like sand paper rough
Amazing grit and control. Less is more with this paddle. This is a must have for sure.
I little crisper and stiffer feeling than the original Coral but still has the familiar control, sweet spot, a little bit more spin that will unlikely not wear out anytime soon.
Let's do the same with the Opal, UPA-A grit, increase sweet spot and make it 16mm.
The paddle is everything that was promised and yet, also, nothing else. The spin and control are there. The paddle handle length is too short; ..needs to be 5.4 or higher..
The pop is okay, but the power serve is not there.
The paddle is great for intermediate play, but not at the elite level I'd hoped for, but dirnthe proce point, it is a good paddle.
My friends don’t want to play with me anymore because I keep winning hands battles!
Feels so smooth everywhere on the court, play like a pro for a reasonable price!
Will be buying again and again
Been playing with the Coral Hybrid ever since its launch, and loved it. So when the Pro version, I had to try get it. After all, it was supposed to be the same paddle but with extra surface texture; I knew it would be good.
But you know what, I think that there's more to it than that, it's more than just skin deep. Not sure what's going on here, but I feel like I'm able to shape the ball like never before. Great work Six Zero
I'll be upfront: I'm biased. My first real paddle that I actually paid good money for was the Six Zero Double Black Diamond, and I fell in love with it. So I came into the Coral Pro Hybrid already rooting for it. The difference is, this one didn't just meet the bar — it became my all-time favorite paddle, full stop.
Let me be honest about one thing so you know this isn't a fluff review: if you're chasing raw power, this isn't a Selkirk Boomstik, and it's not trying to be. What it IS, is one of the best all-around paddles I've ever put in my hand. The build quality is fantastic — it feels solid, balanced, and dialed-in the second you pick it up.
But the spin. Oh man, the spin. This is the part that's almost impossible to put into words. It's so good it genuinely surprised me. I've hit spin shots with this paddle that made me stop and laugh out loud on the court. Dinks, rolls, third-shot drops with shape, and LOBS . . oh sheesh, putting topspin on lobs is SOOOO fun — it just grabs the ball and does exactly what you ask of it. If spin and all-court control are your game (with you generating your own power that you want), the Coral Pro Hybrid is going to make you a believer.
Six Zero, you've got a customer for life. The Double Black Diamond hooked me, and the Coral Pro Hybrid sealed it. Keep building paddles like this and I'll keep buying them.
Highly, highly recommend.
Great all-around paddle! I'm a 3.5-3.9 player and using the paddle straight out of the box without adding any additional weight.
Love the paddle. Most I have had try it love it as well. Great spin and feel. Very good control.
Great paddle! Lots of grit and great spin. Very nice and easy to control with- just enough pop to keep opponents on their toes and enough power to finish.
Really liking my Coral Pro hybrid. As a fan of the original Coral, this update was high on my list to try. Having played 8 hours with it now, I can tell it is a significant improvement in spin with also a slight increase in pop. The extra spin really helps in all types of shots, even touch shots, once you get used to it. Of course, it massively helps to increase topspin for serving and drives. The all-around playability of the Coral remains great. Cosmetically it looks great. Most players could benefit from this version of the Coral, unless you need a USAP certification. Some players coming back from injuries etc. should still go with the Coral Lightweight over this.
Gritty and spintastic. Worth every penny! It’s easier to shape my shots. And I’m learning the drip at an advanced pace. Slices and serves kick harder. Overall 10/10
I love the elongated handle. It allows me to use two hands for a back-hand. I feel like I'm playing better already!
I’ve been playing sixzero paddles for years now since the DBD, Jaume edition Black Diamond, even the “willinator” triple black diamond so I’ll say with full confidence, the coral pro is hands down the best paddle Sixzero has engineered. Coming from the OG Coral, this pro model definitely gives you a boost in every aspect of your game. Drives are a little stronger then resets and control are still solid. I won’t be surprised when this takes over as the new all court paddle of the year. Strong work sixzero and love what you’ve done with this one!
High quality build. Power but easy to control. Added 3 gm at 3 and 9. Now has a large sweet spot.
